The Chip City 9th Birthday Cookie Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Chip City PPTG Holdings, LLC. (“Sponsor”).
The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Square, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, TikTok, or any other third-party platform. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to Sponsor.
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and are enrolled in Chip City Rewards.
Chip City Rewards membership is free, and no purchase is required to join. Individuals may enroll through the link provided on the Contest landing page or at https://profile.squareup.com/merchantportal/ML5Y60BYXD19G/loyalty.
Membership will be verified using the phone number provided with the entry. Entries that cannot be matched to an eligible Chip City Rewards account may be disqualified.
Entrants must opt in to receive Chip City marketing communications at the time of entry. Entrants may subsequently unsubscribe from promotional communications as permitted by applicable law.
Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible.

The submission period begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on August 14, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on August 18, 2026 (the “Submission Period”).
Sponsor will select five (5) finalists following the close of the Submission Period.
Voting will begin at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on August 25, 2026, and end at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on August 28, 2026 (the “Voting Period”).
Sponsor's computer system will serve as the official timekeeping device for the Contest.

No purchase is necessary. Entries must be received before the end of the Submission Period. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or incorrectly submitted entries.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, automated, duplicated, offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, or potentially infringing upon another party's rights.
Following the close of the Submission Period, Sponsor will evaluate eligible entries based on creativity, originality, production feasibility, and fit with the Chip City brand.
Sponsor will select five (5) finalists in its sole discretion. Sponsor may contact potential finalists to confirm eligibility before publicly announcing them.
Sponsor's decisions regarding finalist selection are final and binding.
During the Voting Period, eligible Chip City Rewards members may vote for one of the five finalists through the voting method designated by Sponsor.
Limit one (1) vote per person and per Chip City Rewards account during the entire Voting Period.
Automated, fraudulent, purchased, incentivized, duplicated, or otherwise manipulated votes are prohibited and may be removed at Sponsor's discretion.
Subject to verification, the finalist receiving the greatest number of valid votes will be selected as the potential winner. In the event of a tie, Sponsor will select the winner from among the tied finalists based on the judging criteria described above.
Sponsor reserves the right to audit, validate, remove, or disregard votes that it reasonably believes violate these Official Rules. Sponsor's decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
One (1) winner will receive recognition as the creator of the winning cookie concept, and a cookie inspired by the winning submission is expected to be featured in Chip City's December 2026 holiday lineup.
No cash prize, royalty, or other monetary compensation will be awarded.
Sponsor may adapt, rename, reformulate, combine, modify, or otherwise develop the winning concept based on ingredient availability, food safety, production requirements, costs, branding, or other business considerations. The final product may differ from the original submission.
Sponsor does not guarantee the length of time, number of locations, quantity, availability, or sales performance of any cookie inspired by the winning submission.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.
By entering, each entrant represents and warrants that:
Each entrant grants Sponsor and its affiliates a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, adapt, modify, develop, manufacture, market, advertise, sell, and otherwise commercialize the submission, including its name, description, ingredients, inspiration, and related concepts, in any media or format, without additional compensation, notice, approval, attribution, or accounting, unless prohibited by law.
Entries will not be treated as confidential. Entrants acknowledge that Sponsor may already be developing, or may later independently develop or receive, concepts similar or identical to a submission. Submission of an entry does not restrict Sponsor's right to use or develop such concepts.
Potential finalists and the potential winner may be contacted using the email address or phone number provided at entry.
A potential finalist or winner may be required to confirm eligibility and execute an eligibility declaration, publicity release, rights agreement, or other documentation requested by Sponsor.
If a potential finalist or winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours, is found ineligible, declines selection, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may select an alternate using the applicable judging criteria or verified voting results.
Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes permission for Sponsor and its affiliates to use an entrant's first name, last initial, likeness, voice, hometown, submitted content, statements, and biographical information for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any media without additional compensation, notice, review, or approval.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, extend, or terminate the Contest or any portion of it if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, voting manipulation, force majeure, or any other factor impairs the integrity, administration, security, fairness, or proper functioning of the Contest.
Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry or voting process, acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner, attempts to obtain votes through fraudulent or prohibited means, or otherwise violates these Official Rules.
If the Contest cannot proceed as planned, Sponsor may select finalists or a winner from among the eligible entries or valid votes received before the interruption using the judging criteria described in these Official Rules.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotional partners, employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, as well as Square, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, and TikTok, from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of a prize, or Sponsor's authorized use of a submission.
Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Information collected in connection with the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, verify Chip City Rewards membership, contact finalists and the winner, deliver marketing communications, and as otherwise described in Sponsor's privacy policy.
By enrolling in Chip City Rewards and entering the Contest, entrants agree to receive communications associated with their Rewards membership, marketing communications from Chip City, and communications necessary to administer the Contest.
Entrants may unsubscribe from promotional marketing communications at any time as permitted by applicable law. However, opting out of communications necessary to verify eligibility or administer the Contest may affect Sponsor's ability to contact an entrant regarding finalist or winner status.
The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action relating to the Contest must be brought individually, and not as part of a class or representative action, in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the State of New York, except where prohibited by law.
